Daniel and Karrah Darling

Daniel and Karrah Darling

Greetings and welcome to our site. Please take a moment to look at our blog. We are missionaries sent by Salem Baptist Church and we are serving with Baptist Mid-Missions. Our goal is to be involved in Church Planting and Theological Education. Currently we do not have a country to go to. Please pray that God will guide us.

Both of us are graduates of Piedmont Baptist College and Graduate School. Karrah graduated in 2007 with a BA in Bible and Daniel graduated in 2007 with a MA in Biblical Studies. We were married the 21st of May, 2005. In the January of 2006 Karrah and Daniel were voted by Salem Baptist Church to be missionaries and in the summer of that same year they joined Baptist Mid-Missions. They were on deputation from the summer of 2006 until the spring of 2009. In the Summer of 2009 they went for a three month intensive course in Spanish at the Spanish Language Institute in San José,Costa Rica. From there they traveled back to the United States of America and then traveled to Venezuela for their first term of service. They were not able to get visas because of the political situation so they had to return to the States. Karrah will be giving birth in December and Lord willing by the Spring of 2010 they will be going to another mission field.

    Dan and Karrah,

I was sorry to hear about the situation in Venezuela. I pray that the Lord will re-open the doors for American missionaries in the near future. In the meantime, we will pray that the Venezuelans will be able to carry the work forward. May God direct you as you seek His will for a place of service. Please keep us updated.

      Dan,

Sorry I did not respond sooner. We have been very busy lately. We are in the US (Winston-Salem to be exact), living at one of Pleasant View Baptist Church’s mission homes. Still on deputation (got about 45% right now). Praying to be in Brazil sometime next year (all depending on how the support goes). If you are around we’ll have to get together sometime.
